How to change air filter on VW LUPO 6x1 [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

All the parts you need to replace – Air Filter for Lupo (6X1, 6E1) and other VW models
Alternative products

Torque wrench
HEX bit no.H5.
Ratchet wrench
Phillips Screwdriver
Microfibre towel
Fender cover
Replacement: air filter – VW Lupo 6X1. Tip from AUTODOC experts:
- Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
- Please note: all work on the car – VW Lupo 6X1 – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1
Open the bonnet. - Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car. - Step 3
Undo the fastening screws of the air filter cover. Use a Phillips screwdriver. Use HEX No.H5. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 4
Remove the fastening bolts. - Step 5
Take off the filter lid.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: air filter – VW Lupo 6X1. Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it. - Step 6
Remove the filter element from the filter housing. - Step 7
Cover the air intake hose with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system. - Step 8
Clean the air filter cover and housing.
