Ignition coil removal tool
Replacement: ignition coil – VW POLO VIVO Saloon. AUTODOC experts recommend:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
- The replacement procedure is the same for the ignition coils of all cylinders.
Replacement: ignition coil – VW POLO VIVO Saloon. Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the hood.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3
Disconnect the breather hose. Raise the positive crankcase ventilation hose. - Step 4
Undo the engine cover screws (4 pieces). - Step 5
Remove the engine cover. Use Torx T30. - Step 6
Undo the plastic locking tabs of the ignition coil connector. - Step 7
Pry up the ignition coil. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 8
Take out the ignition coil from the spark plug well. Use an ignition coil remover. - Step 9
Detach the connector from the ignition coil. - Step 10
Treat the ignition coil tip. Use high-temperature grease.
