Replacement: ignition coil – AUDI A3 (8L1). List of the tools you'll need:
Electronic spray
All-purpose cleaning spray
Torque wrench
HEX bit No.H5
Ratchet wrench
Fender cover
Replacement: ignition coil – AUDI A3 (8L1). AUTODOC experts recommend:

  • Please note: all work on the car – AUDI A3 (8L1) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:

    Open the hood.

    Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.

    Remove the engine cover.

    Replacement: ignition coil – AUDI A3 (8L1). Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it.

    Disconnect the spark plug wires from the ignition coil.

    Be careful to avoid damaging spark plug wires.Remember the position of the spark plug wires.

    Detach the connector from the ignition coil.
