How to change the front brake discs and pads on the RENAULT MASTER 2 Van [AUTODOC TUTORIAL]

Car lift or jack with jack stands, and wheel chocks
Replacement: brake pads – Renault Master 2 van. AUTODOC recommends:
- Replace the brake discs and pads in axle sets, regardless of their condition. This will ensure even braking.
- The procedure for replacing the brake discs and pads is identical for both sides of the same axle.
- All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.
Replacement: brake pads – Renault Master 2 van. Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1
Open the bonnet. - Step 2
Loosen the brake fluid reservoir cap. - Step 3
If you are going to use a jack, secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 4
Loosen the wheel fasteners. Use a 24 mm wheel impact socket. Use a tommy bar. - Step 5
Raise the car.Warning!If you are using a jack, make sure the car is parked on a hard, flat surface.Make sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands. - Step 6
Unscrew the wheel fasteners.Replacement: brake pads – Renault Master 2 van. Tip:To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the fasteners. - Step 7
Remove the wheel. - Step 8
Spread the brake pads apart. Use a mounting lever. - Step 9
Clean the brake caliper fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 10
Unscrew the lower brake caliper fastener. Use an 13 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 11
Unscrew the upper brake caliper fastener. Use an 17 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 12
Remove the fastening bolts. - Step 13
Remove the brake caliper.Replacement: brake pads – Renault Master 2 van. AUTODOC experts recommend:Tie the caliper to the suspension or to the body with a wire without disconnecting it from the brake hose to avoid opening the brake line.Make sure that the brake caliper is not hanging from the brake hose.Do not press the brake pedal after the caliper has been removed. This may cause the piston to fall out of the caliper bore resulting in the brake fluid leakage and air entering the system. - Step 14
Remove the brake pads. - Step 15
Remove the brake pad anti-rattle clip from the brake caliper. - Step 16
Clean the brake caliper pistons. Use a nylon brush. Use a brake cleaner. - Step 17
Retract the brake caliper pistons. Use a brake caliper wind back tool. - Step 18
Install a new brake pad anti-rattle clip into the brake caliper. - Step 19
Treat the new brake pads in the areas where they touch their guides on the brake caliper bracket. Use anti-squeal paste. - Step 20
Install new brake pads.
