How to change the wheel bearings and ABS sensors on the RENAULT MASTER 2 Van [AUTODOC TUTORIAL]

Alternative products

Wire brush
WD-40 spray
Electronic spray
Ceramic grease
ABS sensor grease
Torque wrench
10 mm socket
24 mm wheel impact socket
Ratchet wrench or power tool for removal/installation of threaded fasteners
Tommy bar
Car lift or jack with jack stands, and wheel chocks
Replacement: ABS sensor – Renault Master 2 van. AUTODOC recommends:
- All the work should be carried out with the engine switched off.
Replacement: ABS sensor – Renault Master 2 van. Use the following procedure:
- Step 1
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 2
Loosen the wheel fasteners. Use a 24 mm wheel impact socket. Use a tommy bar. - Step 3
Raise the vehicle.Replacement: ABS sensor – Renault Master 2 van. AUTODOC experts recommend:If you are using a jack, make sure the car is parked on a hard, flat surface.Make sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands. - Step 4
Unscrew the wheel fasteners.Caution!To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the fasteners. - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Clean the ABS sensor fastener. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 7
Unscrew the ABS sensor fastener. Use a 10 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 8
Remove the fastening bolt. - Step 9
Remove the ABS sensor. - Step 10
Detach the ABS sensor wiring. - Step 11
Detach the ABS sensor connector. - Step 12
Treat the ABS sensor connector. Use an electronic spray. - Step 13
Attach the connector of the new ABS sensor.
