All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.

Carry out the replacement steps as follows:

Step 1

Open the bonnet.

Step 2

Loosen the brake fluid reservoir cap.
Step 3

If you are going to use a jack, secure the wheels with chocks.
Step 4

Loosen the wheel fasteners. Use a 24 mm wheel impact socket. Use a tommy bar.
Step 5

Raise the car.

Replacement: brake hose – RENAULT MASTER II Platform/Chassis (ED/HD/UD). AUTODOC recommends:
If you are using a jack, make sure the car is parked on a hard, flat surface.Make sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.
Step 6

Unscrew the wheel fasteners.

Caution!
To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the fasteners.
Step 7

Remove the wheel.
Step 8

Spread the brake pads apart. Use a mounting lever.
Step 9

Prepare a fluid drain pan.
Step 10

Clean the areas where the brake hoses are connected to the brake caliper. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 11

Pinch one of the brake hoses with a brake hose clamp.
Step 12

Unscrew the nut fitting that connects the brake hose to the brake caliper. Use a 10 mm flare nut wrench.
Step 13

Close the opening in the caliper with a plug.
Step 14

Repeat the same steps to disconnect the other brake hose.

Step 15

Remove the brake hoses from the holding bracket.
Step 16

Clean the area where the brake hoses are connected to the brake pipes. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 17

Disconnect the brake pipes from the brake hoses. Use an 11 mm flare nut wrench.
Step 18

Block off the brake pipes. Use fluid line stoppers.
Step 19

Remove the brake hoses.
Step 20

Clean the brake hose mounting seats on the brake pipe bracket and the caliper. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 21

Install new brake hoses.

Step 22

Secure one of the brake hoses in the holding bracket.
Step 23

Remove the plug from the corresponding hole in the brake caliper.
Step 24

Screw in the nut fitting connecting the brake hose to the brake caliper. Use a 10 mm flare nut wrench.
Step 25

Repeat the same steps to connect the other brake hose.
Step 26

Tighten the nut fittings that connect the brake hoses to the brake caliper. Use a 10 mm combination spanner. Use a torque wrench. Use a 10 mm flare nut socket. Tightening torque: 17 N·m.
Step 27

Insert one hose into the brake pipe bracket and remove the fluid line stopper on the corresponding pipe.
Step 28

Screw in the nut fitting that connects the hose to the brake pipe. Use an 11 mm flare nut wrench.
Step 29

Tighten the nut fitting that connects the hose to the brake pipe. Complete the same steps for the other brake hose. Use a torque wrench. Use an 11 mm flare nut socket. Tightening torque: 17 N·m.
Step 30

Remove the caps of the brake bleeder screws. Use a mounting lever.
Step 31

Clean the brake bleeder screws. Use a wire brush. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray.

Replacement: brake hose – RENAULT MASTER II Platform/Chassis (ED/HD/UD). AUTODOC experts recommend:
The bleeding procedure should be performed with both the upper and lower bleeding screws, as the front caliper of the RENAULT MASTER II Platform/Chassis (ED/HD/UD) has a separated two-piston design.
Step 32

Connect the brake bleeder kit to one of the bleeder screws.
Step 33

Loosen the brake bleeder screw. Use an 11 mm combination spanner.
Step 34

Press the brake pedal several times to remove any air from the system.

Important!
The bleeding procedure should be performed with both the upper and lower bleeding screws, as the front caliper of the RENAULT MASTER II Platform/Chassis (ED/HD/UD) has a separate, two-piston design.Monitor the brake fluid level while bleeding: it should not fall below the Min mark on the brake fluid reservoir. Top up with fresh brake fluid if necessary.
Step 35

Screw in the brake bleeder screw. Use an 11 mm combination spanner.
Step 36

Disconnect the brake bleeder kit.
Step 37

Tighten the brake bleeder screw. Use an 11 mm socket. Use a torque wrench. Tightening torque: 9 N·m.
Step 38

Reattach the brake bleeder screw cap.
Step 39

Repeat the same steps for the other bleeder screw.
Step 40

Clean the wheel rim mounting seat. Use a wire brush. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 41

Treat the brake disc surface that contacts the wheel rim. Use ceramic grease.
Step 42

Install the wheel.

Replacement: brake hose – RENAULT MASTER II Platform/Chassis (ED/HD/UD). Tip:
To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when screwing in the fasteners.
Step 43

Screw in the wheel fasteners. Use a 24 mm wheel impact socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 44

Lower the car and tighten the wheel fasteners in a criss-cross pattern. Use a 24 mm wheel impact socket. Use a torque wrench. Tightening torque: 172 N·m.
Step 45

Remove the jack, jack stands, and wheel chocks.
Step 46

Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir and top up if necessary.
Step 47

Tighten the brake fluid reservoir cap.

Step 48

Close the bonnet.
