Replacement: air filter – RENAULT TRAFIC II Box (FL). AUTODOC recommends:
- Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
- Please note: all work on the car – RENAULT TRAFIC II Box (FL) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Unscrew the air filter box fasteners. Use a drive socket #10.
- Step 4Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter box.
- Step 5Remove the air filter box.
- Step 6Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the intake manifold.
- Step 7Unscrew the filter housing fastening bolts. Use Torx T25.
- Step 8Remove the air filter housing.
- Step 9Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
- Step 10Clean the air filter cover and housing.Replacement: air filter – RENAULT TRAFIC II Box (FL). Tip from AUTODOC:Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth.
- Step 11Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: air filter – RENAULT TRAFIC II Box (FL). Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Take care to only use quality filters.During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.
