Skoda Fabia Review SKODA Fabia III Hatchback (NJ3) (08.2014 - ...)
- @daniel.scott_3429.05.2025 09:05MemberI've owned a 2015 Fabia 1.2 TSI for about three years now, and I can confirm most of what you've said. The fuel economy is brilliant - I'm averaging around 50 mpg in mixed driving. The infotainment system is decent, but not groundbreaking. It does the job, though. One thing to watch out for is the door seals - mine started to come loose after about 18 months. Easy fix, but annoying. Overall, it's been a reliable little runabout. Just don't expect it to set your heart racing!

- @FreedomE29.05.2025 14:06MemberI had a 2014 Fabia before upgrading to the 2015 model, and let me tell you, it's like chalk and cheese! The 2015 feels much more refined. That said, I do miss the quirkiness of the older model. It had character, you know? Like that slightly mad aunt everyone has. The new one's more like your sensible cousin who always does their homework on time.
- @meadowdreams7729.05.2025 14:12MemberJust a heads up, mate - if you're looking at the 2015 Fabia, make sure you give the suspension a good once-over during the test drive. Mine developed a weird knocking sound after about 6 months. Turned out to be a common issue with the control arm bushes. Nothing major, but worth checking. On the bright side, it's been as reliable as a British queue ever since!
- @PP.Williams29.05.2025 15:10MemberI've got a 2022 Fabia, and I must say, Skoda's really upped their game since 2015. If you can stretch your budget, it might be worth looking at newer models. The tech's much better, and they've sorted out most of the niggles from earlier years. Plus, the cup holders can now fit a proper-sized Yorkshire Tea mug. Progress, I tell you!
- @Stephen_191929.05.2025 15:16MemberHaving owned both a 2009 and a 2015 Fabia, I can safely say the 2015 is leagues ahead. The 2009 was like driving a tin can with wheels - charming in its own way, mind you. But the 2015? It's practically a Rolls-Royce in comparison. Just don't tell my wife I said that - she thinks I'm saving up for an actual Rolls!

Thinking about getting a used 2015 Škoda Fabia? I’d love to hear your thoughts! How’s the fuel economy, reliability, and overall driving experience? Any specific issues with the infotainment system or common mechanical problems to watch out for?
