To access the plafones, you need to partially unfasten the fold-over strip.
Remove the seal, take out the plugs. For the seal, there are 4 Torx screws.
Plus two screws on the sides. Bend the lid and there is an operational space and access to the shades. Unfasten the plafond.
And a pin chip. And squeeze them out. Lift the lid and remove the curtains.
Leave the lid in an upright position and install new shades, connect the contact pieces. Reassemble in reverse order.

For changing the rear license plate lights to LED on a Peugeot 3008, you generally do not need to remove the boot (trunk) cover. The LED license plate light units are designed as plug-and-play replacements for the original bulbs and fit directly into the existing light housings above the license plate.

Here’s a simple overview of the process:
    1. Use a flathead screwdriver or suitable tool to gently pry off the plastic cover or light housing around the license plate light.
    2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the existing bulb or light module.
    3. Remove the old bulb or light module.
    4. Plug in the new LED license plate light module (these usually have Canbus error-free units built-in to prevent dashboard warnings).
    5. Place the LED module back into the housing and secure the cover.
    6. No wiring modification or boot panel removal is typically required.

Many LED replacement kits and modules advertise easy installation with no drilling or modifications needed—just a direct swap.

If necessary, you can find video guides and detailed tutorials online showing the process for Peugeot 3008 and similar models, demonstrating how the license plate lights come out without disassembling the boot interior.

No boot cover removal is required for LED license plate light replacement on the Peugeot 3008. It’s usually just a matter of popping out the light housing, unplugging, and plugging in the new LEDs. Easy upgrade for brighter, longer-lasting lights! šŸ’”šŸš—āœØ

If you fit LEDs, ensure they’re CANBUS-compatible to avoid dashboard errors.
