Octavia Vrs diesel oil consumption SKODA Octavia III Hatchback (5E3, NL3, NR3)

Hi, 

I bought a Octavia VRS about six months ago and recently the oil level light came on so I topped it up with a litre of oil. After only driving for just under 2.5k it’s back on again? Check the stick and it’s correct.. oil down. Have just put another litre in. Is this normal?!

      Hi, yes for these cars this is the norm, in order not to consume oil you need to change the piston group to a modified one
