The MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor on the 2014 Vauxhall Vivaro Sportive 2.0L diesel is located on the intake manifold. To access it, you will typically need to remove the airbox:

    - Step-by-step location:
    - First, remove the airbox by loosening the jubilee clip and pulling the airbox out. The airbox is held in place by rubber push fittings and a few bolts (two at the front and two nuts at the rear).
    - Once the airbox is removed, you will have clear access to the MAP sensor, which is mounted directly on the intake manifold.
    - The sensor itself is a three-wire unit and is usually secured with a bolt or clip. It is positioned so that it can read the pressure inside the intake manifold, which is essential for engine management.

Tip: The MAP sensor can sometimes get blocked or dirty, especially where the pipe connects to the intake manifold. If you are experiencing MAP sensor faults, it is worth checking and cleaning this area as well.

If you need a visual guide, there are several YouTube videos demonstrating this process specifically on the Vivaro, Trafic, and Primastar models, which share similar engine layouts.

This should help you find and access the MAP sensor on your Vivaro without much difficulty.
