Hi 207cc is locking its self when door is closed. When door is open and the catch triggered with a screw driver being slid in to it,it auto central locks but with replacement plugged in (not fitted) it does not central lock. So my question is how to remove actuator from the door. I can’t release the door handle cable due to access or remove it. Any advice would be very much appreciated..

1. Remove the Door Panel:
- Remove the three T20 screws around the door, typically near the handle, armrest, and lower edge.
- Carefully lift the door panel upwards to unclip it from the door frame.
- Disconnect the window control switch wiring.
2. Release the Interior Door Handle Cable:
- The interior door handle cable is clipped in with a small pin or clip.
- Use a flat screwdriver to push the clip pin to release the cable end from the handle. It may require gently levering or sliding the cable slightly to free it. This is often the hardest part due to tight confines but works once the clip is pushed.
3. Remove the Locking Mechanism Cover:
- Peel back or carefully cut open the plastic vapor shield or cover behind the door panel on the lock area. This gives better access to the lock actuator module.
4. Unscrew the Locking Module:
- The door lock actuator is usually secured by a couple of T40 bolts.
- Remove these bolts carefully.
5. Free the Cable from the Lock Assembly:
- Once loose, the cable is clipped or pushed into the lock mechanism.
- Slide or push the cable away in the direction indicated during your handle cable release, and this should free the mechanism.
6. Remove the Actuator:
- Pull the lock actuator assembly out gently.
- Unplug the electrical connector by pushing up on the gray locking tab and pulling it off.
This process involves working in a tight space but following these steps methodically helps. Videos demonstrate pushing the clip pin carefully with a flat screwdriver to release the door handle cable without damage. Removing the door panel and lock bolts is straightforward with the right tools (T20 and T40 drivers). - PEUGEOT 207 CC (WD_) 1.6 HDi@user_389100523.09.2025 21:00@user_341906MemberAfter removing the actuator, how to remove the assembly which is behind the door Handel. It falls in between glass and an bar. Is there any way to remove it without removing glass?
