Crankshaft sensor

@user_1920076 Oct 09, 2023MemberAs a consequence of a drive belt failure the crankshaft sensor connection plug on our 1400 TDCI was smashed away. We were advised by the AA who rescued the vehicle that this is not an unknown situation. New crank shaft sensor units are available at a nominal price. But the connection plug which has 3 wires is part of the engine wiring loom. The plug is not an available part and the engine loom retails at over 1K. The breaker market seems fraught with characters. Does anyone have a solution?

4 145 19.10.23 Can anyone tell me where the longest vacuum pipe connects to please. It comes from the top right hand corner of the Inlet Manifold just below the metal bracket that supports the other vacuum pipes from the Rear of the Inlet Manifold. I have connected all of these vacuum pipes up but I just cannot remember or find another push on connection for the open end of this pipe. Please, Please can someone tell me where it is.
