Car not starting NISSAN Qashqai / Qashqai +2 I (J10, NJ10)

Hi all,

I have a Nissan Qashqai 58 plate, 1.6L petrol. 

Has anyone come across this problem before and have any advice on what the problem may be? 

My car had been working fine previously, however it is now not starting. The lights are coming on on the dashboard, but nothing else is working. 

I have had the battery, fuses, starter motor, key and immobiliser checked and they all seem to be ok. I have had a mechanic look at the car and they were able to get the car to ‘splutter’ but unable to actually get the car running. They have also plugged their scanner into the car and no fault codes are coming up. 

I’m now at a loss as what this could be so any help or suggestions is appreciated!
