How to change the fuel filter on the FORD TRANSIT MK7 [AUTODOC TUTORIAL]

Replacement: fuel filter – Ford Transit Mk7 van. Professionals recommend:
Ensure adequate ventilation of the workplace. Fuel vapours are poisonous.
To avoid fire, wait until the engine has cooled down completely before beginning work. Keep open flames or sources of sparks away from the area.
Warning! Shut down the engine before starting any work – Ford Transit Mk7 van.
Carry out the replacement steps as follows:
Step 1
Open the bonnet.
Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to avoid damaging the paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3
Prepare a fluid drain pan.
Step 4
Clean the filter mounting area. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 5
Detach the connector of the water-in-fuel sensor.
Step 6
Rotate the filter counterclockwise by 1/4 turn, then remove it.
Step 7
Install the new filter and secure it in its mounting seat.
Replacement: fuel filter – Ford Transit Mk7 van. Tip from AUTODOC:
Ensure the filter is positioned correctly before installation: the marks on the filter must align with those on the filter housing.
Step 8
Treat the connector of the water-in-fuel sensor. Use an electronic spray.
Step 9
Attach the connector of the water-in-fuel sensor.
Step 10
Remove the fluid drain pan from under the fuel filter.
Important!
After replacing the fuel filter, you may need to bleed the fuel system of air. Check your vehicle manufacturer's repair manual and follow the procedure listed there.
Step 11
Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary to ensure that the component works properly.
Step 12
Switch off the engine.

Remove the fender cover.
Step 14
Close the bonnet.
