Carry out the replacement steps as follows:
Step 1
Open the bonnet.
Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to avoid damaging the paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3
Unsnap the air intake hose clips.
Step 4
Disconnect the air intake hose from the air filter housing.
Step 5
Unsnap the air filter cover clips.
Step 6
Remove the air filter cover.
Step 7
Plug the air intake hose with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system.
Step 8
Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
Step 9
Clean the air filter cover and housing.
Step 10
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing.

Install the air filter cover.
Step 12
Snap the air filter cover clips into place.

Snap the air intake hose clips into place.
Step 16
Remove the fender protection cover.
Step 17
Close the bonnet.
