Replacement: pollen filter – HONDA STREAM (RN). AUTODOC experts recommend:
- Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, in early spring and autumn seasons.
- Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
- If the air flow into the cabin has sharply reduced, replace the filter before a scheduled maintenance.
- Please note: all work on the car – HONDA STREAM (RN) – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1Move the passenger seat fully backwards.Step 2
Open the glove box. - Step 3
Detach the stopper (strap) from the glove box lid. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 4
Remove the cabin filter housing cover. - Step 5
Remove the cabin filters. - Step 6
Remove the filter element from the filter housing.Replacement: pollen filter – HONDA STREAM (RN). Tip from AUTODOC:Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car. - Step 7Clean the cabin filter housing and cover.Step 8
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.Replacement: pollen filter – HONDA STREAM (RN). AUTODOC recommends:Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.Replacement: pollen filter – HONDA STREAM (RN). Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Take care to only use quality filters. - Step 9
Install the cabin filters.
