Replacement: pollen filter – Honda CR-V II. AUTODOC experts recommend:
Replace the cabin filter at least once every six months, in early spring and autumn seasons.
Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
If the air flow into the cabin has sharply reduced, replace the filter before a scheduled maintenance.
Please note: all work on the car – Honda CR-V II – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
Step 1
Move the passenger seat fully backwards.
Step 2
Open the glove box.
Step 3
Detach the stopper (strap) from the glove box lid. Use a flat screwdriver.
Step 4
Remove the cabin filter housing cover.
Step 5
Remove the cabin filters.
Step 6
Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
Replacement: pollen filter – Honda CR-V II. Tip from AUTODOC:
Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car.
Step 7
Clean the cabin filter housing and cover.
Step 8
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing.Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.

Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.Replacement: pollen filter – Honda CR-V II. Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Take care to only use quality filters.
Step 9
Install the cabin filters.
Step 10
Reinstall the cabin filter housing cover.Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.
Step 11
Attach the stopper (strap) to the glove box lid.
Step 12
Close the glove box.
Step 13
Return the passenger seat to its initial position.
Step 14
Switch on the ignition.
Step 15
Switch on the air conditioning system.This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
Step 16
Switch off the ignition.
