Replacement: headlight bulbs – MERCEDES-BENZ CITAN Kombi (415). Professionals recommend:
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: headlight bulbs – MERCEDES-BENZ CITAN Kombi (415). Take the following steps:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Remove the headlight rear cover.Please note!The replacement procedure is identical for the left and right headlight bulbs.
- Step 4Detach the fog light connector.
- Step 5Pull aside the retainer of the fog light bulb.
- Step 6Remove the fog light bulb.
- Step 7Detach the connector of the low and high beam bulb.
- Step 8Pull aside the retainer of the low and high beam bulb.
- Step 9Remove the low and high beam bulb.
- Step 10Detach the turn signal light bulb holder by turning it approx. 30°.
- Step 11Remove the turn signal light bulb.
- Step 12Treat the bulb connectors. Use dielectric grease.
- Step 13Install a new turn signal light bulb in the socket.
- Step 14Install the turn signal light bulb holder by turning it approx. 30°.
- Step 15Install a new low and high beam bulb.Replacement: headlight bulbs – MERCEDES-BENZ CITAN Kombi (415). AUTODOC recommends:Avoid touching the bulb glass. The finger marks left on it may cause failure.
- Step 16Fit the retainer of the low and high beam bulb.
- Step 17Attach the connector of the low and high beam bulb.
- Step 18Install a new fog light bulb.AUTODOC recommends:Avoid touching the bulb glass. The finger marks left on it may cause failure.
- Step 19Fit the retainer of the fog light bulb.
