Replacement: fuel filter – Renault Twingo C06. Tip:
- Ensure adequate ventilation of the workplace. Fuel vapors are poisonous.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: fuel filter – Renault Twingo C06. Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Open the fuel door.
- Step 2Unscrew the fuel filler cap.
- Step 3Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.
- Step 4Loosen the fuel filter mounting. Use a Phillips screwdriver.
- Step 5Prepare a container for fluids.
- Step 6Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
- Step 7Squeeze the clips and detach the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter housing. Use fuel line pliers.Replacement: fuel filter – Renault Twingo C06. Tip from AUTODOC experts:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses.
- Step 8Remove the fuel filter. Put the old filter cartridge in the container.
- Step 9Install a new fuel filter.AUTODOC recommends:Make sure that the fuel filter is positioned correctly. Consider the fuel flow direction mark.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.Renault Twingo C06 – It's important to only use high-quality filters.
- Step 10Connect the fuel supply lines to the fuel filter.
