How to change fuel filter RENAULT CLIO 3 [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: fuel filter – Renault Clio 3. Tip from AUTODOC:
- Ensure adequate ventilation of the workplace. Fuel vapors are poisonous.
- Warning! Shut down the engine before starting any work – Renault Clio 3.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
- Step 1
Open the hood. - Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 4
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. - Step 5
Raise the front of the car and secure on supports. - Step 6
Unscrew the wheel bolts.Replacement: fuel filter – Renault Clio 3. Professionals recommend:To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the bolts. - Step 7
Remove the wheel. - Step 8
Remove the wheel arch cover. Use a clip removal tool. - Step 9
Prepare a container for fluids. - Step 10
Clean the fuel filter bracket. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 11
Unscrew the fuel filter bracket fixing bolts. Use a drive socket #13. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 12
Remove the fuel filter together with its bracket. - Step 13
Clean the fasteners of the fuel supply lines. Use a nylon cleaning brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 14
Remove the fuel filter fastening bracket. - Step 15
Disconnect the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter. Use a flat screwdriver.Replacement: fuel filter – Renault Clio 3. Tip:Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses. - Step 16
Remove the fuel filter. - Step 17Put the old filter cartridge in the container.Step 18
Clean the fuel lines. Use a nylon cleaning brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 19
Connect the fuel supply lines to the fuel filter.
