Support the engine in the oil pan area. Use a jack. - Step 4
Clean the engine mount fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 5
Unscrew the fasteners of the engine mount bracket. Use a drive socket #16. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 6
Remove the fastening bolts. - Step 7
Unscrew the engine mount from the bracket. Use a drive socket #16. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 8Unscrew the fasteners that connect the engine mount to the car body. Use a drive socket #16. Use a ratchet wrench.Step 9
Remove the fastening bolts. - Step 10
Remove the engine mount.Replacement: engine mounts – RENAULT MEGANE I Cabriolet (EA0/1_). Professionals recommend:Carefully check the other engine mounts and replace them if necessary. - Step 11
Detach the engine mount bracket from the mount. - Step 12
Clean the mounting seat of the engine mount. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.Replacement: engine mounts – RENAULT MEGANE I Cabriolet (EA0/1_). Tip from AUTODOC:When cleaning the mounting seats on the engine, make sure that dirt doesn't get into the valvetrain. - Step 13
Install a new engine mount. - Step 14
Install the fastening bolts.
