AUTODOC recommends:
- Replace the stabiliser links on CITROËN C3 II Kasten / Schrägheck (SC) in pairs.
- The replacement procedure is identical for both stabiliser links on the same axle.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: anti roll bar links – CITROËN C3 II Kasten / Schrägheck (SC). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.
- Step 2Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17.
- Step 3Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.Step 4Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. CITROËN C3 II Kasten / Schrägheck (SC)
- Step 5Remove the wheel.
- Step 6.1Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush.Step 6.2Use WD-40 spray.
- Step 7Unscrew the fasteners connecting the stabiliser link to the stabiliser bar. Use a drive socket #16.
- Step 8Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the shock strut. Use a drive socket #16.
- Step 9Remove the stabilizer rod.Replacement: anti roll bar links – CITROËN C3 II Kasten / Schrägheck (SC). Tip from AUTODOC experts:Examine stabiliser bushes. Replace them if needed.
- Step 10Install a new rod, tighten the fasteners.
