How to change front ABS sensor on BMW 1 Series E82 [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: abs sensor – BMW E82. Professionals recommend:
- The replacement procedure is identical for both ABS sensors on the same axle.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: abs sensor – BMW E82. Take the following steps:
- Step 1
Secure the wheels with chocks. - Step 2
Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #17. - Step 3
Raise the front of the car and secure on supports. - Step 4
Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. BMW E82 - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Disconnect the ABS sensor wiring. - Step 7
Detach the ABS sensor connector. - Step 8
Disconnect the ABS sensor wiring. - Step 9
Clean the ABS sensor fastener. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray. - Step 10
Unscrew the ABS sensor fastening from the steering knuckle. Use HEX No.H5. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 11
Remove the ABS sensor from the steering knuckle. Use round-nose pliers. - Step 12
Clean the ABS sensor mounting seat. Use a wire brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 13
Treat the ABS sensor fastener. Use a multipurpose grease. Use a flat screwdriver. - Step 14
Install the ABS sensor on the steering knuckle and secure it.
