- Replace the oil filter every time when changing motor oil.
- Wear gloves to prevent contact with hot liquid.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: engine oil and filter – PEUGEOT Partner Origin Combispace (G_). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the hood.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Pull up the oil dipstick.Step 4Unscrew the oil filler plug.
- Step 5Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.AUTODOC recommends:The vehicle must be on even keel, and if it is at an angle, the drain plug must be at the lowest point.Step 6Clean the area of the oil pan drainage hole. Use a wire brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
- Step 7Put a waste oil container with at least 5 l capacity under the drainage hole.
- Step 8Unscrew the drain plug. Use a combination spanner #22.
- Step 9Drain the used oil.Replacement: engine oil and filter – PEUGEOT Partner Origin Combispace (G_). Tip:Caution! The oil may be hot.Wait until the oil has completely drained from the drainage hole.
- Step 10Clean the oil filter. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.Step 11Unscrew the oil filter. Use the 76/14-F socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 12Put the old oil filter in the container.
- Step 13Clean the oil filter seat. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.Step 14Screw the new filter into its place. Use the 76/14-F socket. Observe the recommended tightening torque.
- Step 15Clean the area of the oil pan drainage hole.
- Step 16Screw in the new drainage plug and tighten it. Use a combination spanner #22. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 30 nm torque.
