How to change oil filter and engine oil on OPEL CORSA D [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]

Replacement: engine oil and filter – Opel Corsa D. AUTODOC recommends:
- Replace the oil filter every time when changing motor oil.
- Wear gloves to prevent contact with hot liquid.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: engine oil and filter – Opel Corsa D. Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the hood.
- Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
- Step 3Remove the engine cover.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: engine oil and filter – Opel Corsa D. Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it.
- Step 4Unscrew the oil filler plug.
- Step 5Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.AUTODOC recommends:The vehicle must be on even keel, and if it is at an angle, the drain plug must be at the lowest point.All work should be done with the engine stopped.
- Step 6Put a waste oil container with at least 4 l capacity under the drainage hole.
- Step 7Clean the area of the oil pan drainage hole. Use a wire brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
- Step 8Unscrew the drain plug. Use Torx T45. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 9Drain the used oil.Replacement: engine oil and filter – Opel Corsa D. Tip:Caution! The oil may be hot.
- Step 10Detach the air intake hose clamp. Use a drive socket #7. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 11Disconnect the air intake pipe fastening. Use Torx T25. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 12Remove the air intake pipe.
- Step 13Cover the air intake hose with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system.
- Step 14Undo the screws of the protective case of the oil filter housing. Use Torx T25. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 15Remove the protective case of the oil filter housing.
- Step 16Clean the oil filter housing cap. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
- Step 17Unscrew the filter housing cap together with the old filter element. Use a drive socket #27. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 18Put the old oil filter in the container.Replacement: engine oil and filter – Opel Corsa D. Professionals recommend:Move up the container. The oil starts to drain out of the drainage hole immediately after you have removed the oil filter.
- Step 19Cover the oil filter housing with a microfibre towel to prevent dirt and foreign objects from getting into the system.Step 20Detach the oil filter from the filter cover.
- Step 21Remove the oil filter cover O-ring. Use a flat screwdriver.
- Step 22Clean the oil filter housing cap. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
- Step 23Install a new O-ring to its mounting seat on the filter cover.
- Step 24Install the new oil filter to the mounting seat on the filter cover.Please note!Make sure to install the filter correctly. Don't mix up the sides of the part.
- Step 25Lubricate the rubber seal of the new filter with a little amount of fresh oil.Step 26Remove the microfibre towel from the oil filter housing.Step 27Install a new oil filter housing cover and tighten it. Use a drive socket #27. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 25 Nm torque.
- Step 28Install the protective case of the oil filter housing.
