Replacement: coolant expansion tank – RENAULT MASTER II Bus (JD). AUTODOC recommends:
- Follow the recommendations and requirements for part operation provided by the manufacturer.
- All the work should be carried out with the engine cooled down and ignition switched off.
Replacement: coolant expansion tank – RENAULT MASTER II Bus (JD). Take the following steps:
- Step 1Open the bonnet.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to avoid damaging the paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Lift the vehicle using a vehicle lift or place it over an inspection pit.Step 4
Prepare a fluid drain pan. - Step 5
Clean the area where the hose is connected to the oil cooler. Use a nylon brush. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 6
Disconnect the hose from the oil cooler after releasing the hose clamp. Use combination pliers. - Step 7
Unscrew the coolant expansion tank cap.Replacement: coolant expansion tank – RENAULT MASTER II Bus (JD). Tip from AUTODOC experts:Wait until the coolant has completely flowed out of the hose. - Step 8
Clean the tip of the oil cooler where the hose attaches. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 9
Connect the hose to the oil cooler. Use combination pliers. - Step 10Lower the vehicle.Step 11
Disconnect the hoses from the expansion tank. Use hose clamp pliers. Use hose removal pliers.Caution!Block the hoses to stop contaminants from getting in.Use paper towels. - Step 12
Unscrew the coolant expansion tank fastener. Use a 10 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 13
Remove the fastening bolt. - Step 14
Remove the coolant expansion tank, releasing it from its bracket. - Step 15
Install the new coolant expansion tank on its bracket until it clicks on. - Step 16
Install the fastening bolt. - Step 17
Tighten the expansion tank fastener. Use a 10 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 18
Clean the expansion tank hoses. Use an all-purpose cleaning spray. Remove the paper towels. - Step 19
Connect the hoses to the expansion tank. Use hose clamp pliers.
