Replacement: battery – FORD MONDEO IV Saloon (BA7). AUTODOC recommends:
- All the work should be carried out with the ignition switched off.
Replacement: battery – FORD MONDEO IV Saloon (BA7). Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Open the driver's door.Step 2Slide the driver's seat all the way forward and fold it.
- Step 3Remove the cover from the battery compartment.
- Step 4Unscrew the negative battery terminal fastener. Use a 10 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 5Remove the negative terminal from the battery.
- Step 6Unscrew the positive battery terminal fastener. Use a 10 mm socket. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 7Remove the positive terminal from the battery.
- Step 8Remove the battery.
- Step 9Clean the battery terminals. Use a battery terminal brush.
- Step 10Install a new battery.
