How to change air filter on FIAT PANDA 2 (169) [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]
All the parts you need to replace – Air Filter for PANDA (169) and other FIAT models
Replacement: air filter – Fiat Panda 169. AUTODOC experts recommend:
Follow the terms, recommendations and requirements of the part operation provided by the manufacturer.
Please note: all work on the car – Fiat Panda 169 – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
Step 1
Open the bonnet.
Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3
Release the air filter cover clips.
Step 4
Take off the filter lid.
Step 5
Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
Step 6
Cover the throttle body with a microfibre towel to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the system.
Step 7
Clean the air filter cover and housing.
Replacement: air filter – Fiat Panda 169. Professionals recommend:
Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth.
Step 8
Remove the microfibre towel from the throttle body.
Step 9
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.

Replacement: air filter – Fiat Panda 169. Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Take care to only use quality filters.During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.
Step 10
Reinstall the air filter cover. Fasten it.
Step 11
Press the air filter cover clips into place.
Step 12
Remove the fender protection cover.
Step 13
Close the hood.
