Has any one removed the blower fan in a Terios. Is it possible to without removing the steering assembly.. Steering is Electric and the bulky motor and the rest seem to obstruct.. The vehicle is actually a Toyita Camy (2002)

Hey! So about yanking the blower fan on your Toyota Camry (2002) — good news! You do not need to remove the electric steering assembly, even if the steering motor is chunky and hogging the footwell.

    Here’s the down-to-earth trick:
    - The blower fan (motor) sits behind the glove box, on the passenger side footwell area, not far from the center stack.
    - Most guides (and those YouTube mechanics who somehow have smaller hands) say you can get access by removing the lower plastic trim, sometimes dropping the glove box, and then unbolting the three 8mm screws holding the fan in place.
    - Even if the electric steering motor seems to block it, there’s enough room to squeeze the fan out — you just have to wiggle it, maybe curse a bit, and be careful not to snap the cage or bend the fan blades (seriously, don’t Hulk it).
    - You will need an 8mm deep socket or ratchet for the bolts and a bit of patience. It’s tight, but no steering removal needed!
    - Some advice from the trenches: unplug the electrical connector FIRST, and when installing, watch for any wires getting squashed.

So: Yes, it’s possible, just fiddly with electric steering, but no scary disassembly. May your blower fan spin like a new one…and your knuckles stay unscratched!
