How to change air filter on KIA SORENTO BL TUTORIAL | AUTODOC
All the parts you need to replace – Air Filter for SORENTO I (JC) and other KIA models
Replacement: air filter – KIA Sorento JC. AUTODOC experts recommend:

All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: air filter – KIA Sorento JC. Use the following procedure:
Step 1
Open the bonnet.
Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3
Unplug the mass air flow sensor connector. Use a flat screwdriver.
Step 4
Detach the retainers of the ignition cables. Use a flat screwdriver.
Step 5
Detach the air intake hose clamp. Use a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 6
Disconnect the air intake pipe from the air filter housing.
Step 7
Release the air filter cover clips.
Step 8
Take off the filter lid.
Step 9
Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
Step 10
Clean the air filter cover and housing.
Replacement: air filter – KIA Sorento JC. Professionals recommend:
Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth.
Step 11
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.

Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.Attention! Use quality filters – KIA Sorento JC.During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.
Step 12
Reinstall the air filter cover. Fasten it.
Step 13
Press the air filter cover clips into place.
Step 14
Connect the air intake pipe to the air filter housing.
Step 15
Fasten the clamp on the air intake hose. Use a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 16
Attach the retainers of the ignition cables.
Step 17
Plug in the mass air flow sensor conntector.
Step 18
Remove the fender protection cover. Close the hood.
