Replacement: spark plugs – PEUGEOT PARTNER Box. AUTODOC experts recommend:
- The replacement procedure is the same for all spark plugs.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: spark plugs – PEUGEOT PARTNER Box. Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Open the hood.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Unplug the connectors from the ignition coils. Use an ignition coil remover.
- Step 4Pry up the ignition coil. Use a crowbar. Take out the ignition coil from the spark plug well.Replacement: spark plugs – PEUGEOT PARTNER Box. Tip:Remember the sequence of steps for ignition coil demounting.
- Step 5Clean dirt, dust and debris from inside the spark plug well.
- Step 6Unscrew the spark plugs. Use the 12-point spark plug socket #14.
- Step 7Take out the spark plugs. Use a telescoping magnet.
- Step 8Apply a thin layer of a special high temperature anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the new spark plugs.
- Step 9Install the new spark plugs into their mounting seats.
