AUTODOC recommends:

Do not re-use the bearing assembly of your PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F) car.
The wheel hub bearing replacement procedure is identical for both wheels on the same axle.
Please note: all work on the car – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F) – should be done with the engine switched off.

Carry out replacement in the following order:

Step 1

Open the bonnet. Unscrew the brake fluid reservoir cap.

Step 2

Secure the wheels with chocks.
Step 3

Loosen the wheel mounting bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19.
Step 4

Raise the rear of the car and secure on supports.

Step 5

Unscrew the wheel bolts.

AUTODOC recommends:
Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F)
Step 6

Remove the wheel.
Step 7

Remove the dust boot caps of the brake caliper guide pins. Use a flat screwdriver.
Step 8.1

Unscrew the brake caliper fasteners. Use HEX No.H7.

Step 8.2

Use a drive socket #16. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 9

Remove the fastening bolts.

Step 10

Spread the brake pads. Use a crowbar.

Step 11

Remove the brake caliper.

Replacement: wheel bearing – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F). Professionals recommend:
Tie the caliper to the suspension or to the body with a wire without disconnecting from the brake hose to prevent depressurization of the brake system.Make sure that the brake caliper is not hanging on the brake hose.Don't press the brake pedal after the brake caliper has been removed. As a result, the piston can fall out from the brake cylinder, and brake fluid leakage and depressurization of the system may occur.
Step 12

Clean the brake disc fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 13

Unscrew the brake disc fasteners. Use Torx T30. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 14

Remove the brake disc.
Step 15

Remove the hub bearing protection cap. Use a crowbar. Use a rubber mallet.
Step 16

Unstake the wheel hub retaining nut. Use a flat metal-working chisel. Use a hammer.
Step 17

Unscrew the wheel hub axle nut. Use a drive socket #41. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 18

Remove the fastening nut.

Step 19

Remove the hub and the bearing together, since they are a sealed unit.
Step 20

Clean the wheel hub mounting seat. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 21

Install the new wheel hub together with the bearing.
Step 22

Install the fastening nut.
Step 23

Tighten the hub. Use a drive socket #41. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 275 Nm torque.
Step 24

Restake the wheel hub retaining nut. Use a flat metal-working chisel. Use a hammer.

Step 25

Install the hub bearing protection cap. Use a rubber mallet.
Step 26

Treat the hub where it contacts the brake disk. Use copper grease.
Step 27

Install the brake disc.
Step 28

Tighten the brake disc fasteners. Use Torx T30. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 10 Nm torque.
Step 29

Install the brake caliper and fix it.
Step 30

Install the fastening bolts.

Step 31.1

Tighten the brake caliper fasteners. Use HEX No.H7.

Step 31.2

Use a drive socket #16. Use a torque wrench. Observe the recommended tightening torque.
Step 32

Install the dust boot caps of the brake caliper guide pins.
Step 33

Treat the surface where the brake disc contacts the wheel rim. Use high-temperature ceramic grease.
Step 34

Clean the brake disk surface. Use a brake cleaner.

AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: wheel bearing – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F). After applying the spray, wait a few minutes.
Step 35

Install the wheel.

Warning! To avoid injury, hold the wheel while screwing in the fastening bolts on the car. PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F)
Step 36

Screw in the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19.
Step 37

Lower the car and working in a cross order, tighten the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 90 Nm torque.
Step 38

Remove the jacks and chocks.

AUTODOC recommends:
Important! Replacement: wheel bearing – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F). Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir and top up if necessary.
Step 39

Tighten the brake fluid reservoir cap. Close the hood.

Replacement: wheel bearing – PEUGEOT PARTNER Combispace (5F). Tip:
Without starting the engine, press the brake pedal several times until you feel significant resistance.
