Carry out replacement in the following order:

Step 1

Open the glove box.
Step 2

Detach the stopper (strap) from the glove box lid.
Step 3

Release the cabin filter cover clips. Remove the cabin filter housing cover.
Step 4

Remove the cabin filter.

Replacement: pollen filter – TOYOTA bB I (NCP3_). Tip from AUTODOC experts:
Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter - it will affect the quality of air cleaning inside the car.
Step 5

Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.

Replacement: pollen filter – TOYOTA bB I (NCP3_). Be sure to position the filtering element correctly. Avoid misalignment.Follow the air flow direction arrow on the filter.
Step 6

Reinstall the cabin filter housing cover. Make sure you hear a click indicating that it is locked in place.
Step 7

Attach the stopper (strap) to the glove box lid.
Step 8

Close the glove box.

Step 9

Switch on the ignition.

Step 10

Switch on the air conditioning system. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.

Step 11

Switch off the ignition.
