How to change fuel filter VOLVO V70 BW [TUTORIAL AUTODOC]
All the parts you need to replace – Fuel Filter for V70 III (135) and other VOLVO models
Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses.
Step 9
Remove the fuel filter.
Step 10
Clean the fuel lines. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 11
Install a new fuel filter.
AUTODOC recommends:
During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.
Step 12
Connect the fuel lines to the fuel filter.
Step 13
Screw in the fuel filter mounting bracket. Use Torx T30. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 14
Take the fluid container away from under the fuel filter.
Step 15
Lower the car.
Step 16
Tighten the fuel filler cap.
Step 17
Close the fuel door.
Replacement: fuel filter – Volvo V70 BW. Tip:
Before starting off, switch the ignition on and off several times. This should be done to activate the fuel pump to make it pump fuel through the fuel system.
Step 18
Run the engine for a few minutes.
