During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.Take care to only use quality filters.
Step 12
Attach the fuel pressure sensor connector.
Step 13
Connect the fuel supply lines to the fuel filter.
Step 14
Screw the fixing bolts of the fuel filter bracket. Use a drive socket #8. Use a drive socket #10. Use a ratchet wrench.
Step 15
Install the engine cover and secure it.
AUTODOC recommends:
Make sure the engine cover is properly seated. It should not be displaced with respect to the guiding fasteners.Caution! Do not use excessive force during installation. This may damage the fasteners of the car. VOLVO V70 III (BW)
Step 16
Screw in the engine cover fasteners. Use a drive socket #10.
Replacement: fuel filter – VOLVO V70 III (BW). Tip from AUTODOC:
Before starting off, switch the ignition on and off several times. This should be done to activate the fuel pump to make it pump fuel through the fuel system.
Step 17
Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.
Step 18
Shut off the engine.
Step 19
Remove the fender protection cover.
Step 20
Close the hood.

To protect the environment from pollution, be sure to dispose of the used filters at special collection points.
