Carry out replacement in the following order:

Step 1

Open the bonnet.

Step 2

Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.

Step 3

Unscrew the engine cover fastener. Use a drive socket #10.
Step 4

Remove the engine cover.
Step 5

Clean the fuel filter. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 6

Detach the fuel pressure sensor connector. Use a crowbar.
Step 7

Disconnect the fuel supply lines from the fuel filter. Use a crowbar.

Replacement: fuel filter – PEUGEOT PARTNER Platform/Chassis. AUTODOC recommends:
Be careful! Fuel may leak from the filter housing and hoses.
Step 8

Loosen the fuel filter mounting. Use a chain oil filter wrench.
Step 9

Remove the fuel filter. Put the old filter cartridge in the container.
Step 10

Detach the old filter cartridge from the filter housing cover. Use a crowbar.
Step 11

Clean the fuel filter housing and the cover. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 12

Fasten the fuel filter in the holder.

Make sure that the fuel filter is positioned correctly. Consider the fuel flow direction mark.During installation, take care to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the fuel filter housing.PEUGEOT PARTNER Platform/Chassis – It's important to only use high-quality filters.
Step 13

Remove the rubber strip. Use a flat screwdriver.
Step 14

Install the rubber strip.
Step 15

Install a new fuel filter.
Step 16

Tighten the fuel filter fasteners.
Step 17

Attach the fuel pressure sensor connector.
Step 18

Connect the fuel supply lines to the fuel filter.

Replacement: fuel filter – PEUGEOT PARTNER Platform/Chassis. AUTODOC experts recommend:
Before starting off, switch the ignition on and off several times. This should be done to activate the fuel pump to make it pump fuel through the fuel system.
Step 19

Run the engine for a few minutes. This is necessary in order to make sure that the component operates properly.

Step 20

Shut off the engine.

Step 21

Install the engine cover and secure it.

AUTODOC recommends:
Make sure the engine cover is properly seated. It should not be displaced with respect to the guiding fasteners.Do not apply excessive force when installing the part. Otherwise you may damage the fasteners.
Step 22

Screw in the engine cover fasteners. Use a drive socket #10.

Step 23

Remove the fender protection cover.

Step 24

Close the hood.
