- Always replace front wiper blades together. It will ensure efficient and uniform cleaning of the windshield.
- Don't confuse the wiper blades of the driver and passenger side.
- The replacement procedure for both wiper blades is identical.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: windshield wipers – VW POLO (86). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Switch on the ignition. Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to the downward position.
- Step 2Switch off the ignition. In the service mode, the wipers will be in the upper position.Step 3Prepare the new windscreen wipers.
- Step 4Pull the wiper arm away from the glass surface until it stops.
- Step 5Press the clip.
