Tie the caliper to the suspension or to the body with a wire without disconnecting from the brake hose to prevent depressurization of the brake system.Make sure that the brake caliper is not hanging on the brake hose.Don't press the brake pedal after the brake caliper has been removed. As a result, the piston can fall out from the brake cylinder, and brake fluid leakage and depressurization of the system may occur.
Step 13
Remove the brake pads.
Step 14
Clean the brake caliper bracket fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 15
Unscrew the brake caliper bracket fasteners. Use a combination spanner #18.
Step 16
Remove the fastening bolts.
Step 17
Remove the caliper bracket.
Step 18
Clean the brake disc fastener. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
Step 19
Unscrew the brake disc fastening. Use HEX No.H5. Use an impact screwdriver.
Step 20
Remove the fastening bolt.
Step 21
Remove the brake disc.
Step 22
Clean the hub. Use a wire brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.
Step 23
Treat the contacting surface. Use ceramic grease.
Step 24
Install the brake disc.
Step 25
Install the fastening bolt.
Step 26
Tighten the brake disc fastening. Use HEX No.H5. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 10 Nm torque.
Step 27
Clean the brake caliper bracket from dirt and dust. Use a wire brush. Use a brake cleaner.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: brake discs – Mercedes W204. After applying the spray, wait a few minutes.Check the brake caliper bracket, brake caliper guide pins and boots. Clean them. Replace, if necessary.
Step 28
Install the brake caliper bracket.
Step 29
Install the fastening bolts.
Step 30
Tighten the brake caliper bracket fasteners. Use a combination spanner #18. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 115 Nm torque.
Step 31
Treat the brake pads in the area where their surface comes into contact with the brake caliper bracket. Use anti-squeal paste.
Without starting the engine, press the brake pedal several times until you feel significant resistance.Check the brake fluid level in the expansion tank and refill if necessary.
Step 46
Tighten the brake fluid reservoir cap. Close the hood.

I see a copper looking color on the bolts. What are you coating those bolts thread with? Also, the brake pads look like they have some anti-squeal paste on the ends, what are you using? Do any of the bolts need thread locker?

Hello! We used copper grease https://www.autodoc.co.uk/lnk-28689194 and anti-squeak https://www.autodoc.co.uk/lnk-20939798 grease. The repair handbook for the vehicle you own will have more detailed information regarding the necessity of using thread locker.
