- Replace the stabiliser links on Honda Civic 8 in pairs.
- The replacement procedure is identical for both stabiliser links on the same axle.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: anti roll bar links – Honda Civic 8. Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.Step 2Loosen the wheel bolts. Use wheel impact socket #19. Use a tap wrench.
- Step 3Raise the car.Replacement: anti roll bar links – Honda Civic 8. AUTODOC experts recommend:If you are using a jack, make sure it rests on a flat surface without any unevenness.Be sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands.
- Step 4Unscrew the wheel bolts.AUTODOC recommends:Important! Hold the wheel while unscrewing the fastening bolts. Honda Civic 8
- Step 5Remove the wheel.
- Step 6Clean the stabiliser link fasteners. Use a wire brush. Use WD-40 spray.
- Step 7Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the shock strut. Use a drive socket #14. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 8Unscrew the fastener connecting the stabilizer link to the stabilizer bar. Use a drive socket #14. Use a ratchet wrench.
- Step 9Remove the stabiliser link.
- Step 10Clean the mounting seats of the stabiliser link. Use a wire brush.
- Step 11Install a new stabiliser link and tighten the fasteners.
