Replacement: ABS sensor – Opel Vivaro A van. AUTODOC recommends:
- All the work should be carried out with the engine switched off.
Replacement: ABS sensor – Opel Vivaro A van. Recommended sequence of steps:
- Step 1Secure the wheels with chocks.Step 2
Loosen the wheel fasteners. Use a 19 mm wheel impact socket. Use a tommy bar. - Step 3
Raise the vehicle.Warning!If you are using a jack, make sure the car is parked on a hard, flat surface.Make sure to additionally secure the car with jack stands. - Step 4
Unscrew the wheel fasteners.Replacement: ABS sensor – Opel Vivaro A van. Professionals recommend:To avoid injury, hold up the wheel when unscrewing the fasteners. - Step 5
Remove the wheel. - Step 6
Remove the ABS sensor. - Step 7
Detach the ABS sensor wiring. - Step 8
Detach the vehicle connector from the ABS sensor connector. - Step 9
Remove the ABS sensor connector from its mounting seat on the vehicle. Use a slotted screwdriver. - Step 10
Treat the vehicle connector of the ABS sensor. Use an electronic spray. - Step 11
Secure the ABS sensor connector in its mounting seat on the vehicle.
