- Wear gloves to prevent contact with hot liquid.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: engine oil and filter – PEUGEOT 307 SW Kasten/Kombi (3E_, 3H_). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the hood.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3Pull up the oil dipstick.Step 4
Unscrew the oil filler plug. - Step 5Lift the car using a jack or place it over an inspection pit.AUTODOC recommends:The vehicle must be on even keel, and if it is at an angle, the drain plug must be at the lowest point.Step 6
Clean the area of the oil pan drainage hole. Use a wire brush. Use all-purpose cleaning spray. - Step 7
Put a waste oil container with at least 5 l capacity under the drainage hole. - Step 8
Unscrew the drain plug. Use a combination spanner #22. - Step 9
Drain the used oil.Replacement: engine oil and filter – PEUGEOT 307 SW Kasten/Kombi (3E_, 3H_). Tip:Caution! The oil may be hot.Wait until the oil has completely drained from the drainage hole. - Step 10Clean the oil filter. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.Step 11
Unscrew the oil filter. Use the 76/14-F socket. Use a ratchet wrench. - Step 12
Put the old oil filter in the container. - Step 13Clean the oil filter seat. Use all-purpose cleaning spray.Step 14
Screw the new filter into its place. Use the 76/14-F socket. Observe the recommended tightening torque. - Step 15
Clean the area of the oil pan drainage hole. - Step 16
Screw in the new drainage plug and tighten it. Use a combination spanner #22. Use a torque wrench. Tighten it to 30 nm torque.
