Replacement: distributor cap – SEAT CORDOBA (6K1, 6K2). Tip from AUTODOC experts:

- Thoroughly inspect the ignition distributor assembly. Replace any worn parts.
- All work should be done with the engine stopped.
Replacement: distributor cap – SEAT CORDOBA (6K1, 6K2). Use the following procedure:
- Step 1Open the hood.Step 2Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.Step 3
Make marks on the distributor cap to indicate the installation order of the spark plug wires. - Step 4
Disconnect the spark plug wires from the distributor cap.Replacement: distributor cap – SEAT CORDOBA (6K1, 6K2). Tip from AUTODOC experts:Be careful to avoid damaging spark plug wires. - Step 5
Release the distributor cap clips. Use a crowbar. - Step 6
Remove the distributor cap.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: distributor cap – SEAT CORDOBA (6K1, 6K2). Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it. - Step 7
Install a new distributor cap.AUTODOC recommends:Replacement: distributor cap – SEAT CORDOBA (6K1, 6K2). Do not use excessive force during installation. This may damage the part. - Step 8
Fasten the distributor cap clips.
