Replacement: air filter – Alfa Romeo 147 937. Tip from AUTODOC:

Please note: all work on the car – Alfa Romeo 147 937 – should be done with the engine switched off.
Carry out replacement in the following order:
Step 1
Open the hood.
Step 2
Use a fender protection cover to prevent damaging paintwork and plastic parts of the car.
Step 3
Remove the air filter housing retaining spring.
Step 4
Take off the filter lid.
AUTODOC recommends:
Replacement: air filter – Alfa Romeo 147 937. Do not use excessive force when removing the part as this may damage it.
Step 5
Remove the filter element from the filter housing.
Step 6
Clean the air filter cover and housing.
AUTODOC recommends:
Before cleaning the air filter cover and housing, cover the air duct parts, mass airflow sensor (if available), throttle valve with a clean cloth.
Step 7
Insert a new filter element into the filter housing. Make sure that the filter edge fits tight to the housing.

Check out the correct location of the filter element. Do not skew.Attention! Use quality filters – Alfa Romeo 147 937.During installation, make sure to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the air filter housing.
Step 8
Reinstall the air filter cover. Fasten it.

Step 9
Install the air filter housing retaining spring.
Step 10
Remove the fender protection cover.
Step 11
Close the hood.
