    Hello
    I have a C4 Puretech on a ’21 plate, less than 16,000 miles
This car as a sealed, oiled timing belt that is in a sealed unit. Would a first service normally disassemble this to examine? Anyone have an insights into this?
Secondly the timing belt has failed, they said during service #2 that it failed “thickness test”. The belt I am told is ratified for around 60,000 miles or six years. It failed in two years with less than 16k miles.
I wonder if anyone else had a similar problem?
I am in contact with their customer service if this is a warranty replacement or I pay over £500 to replace it.
    Thanks
