STARK brake discs reviews
@Stacy Adams12.08.2020 08:14AUTODOC expertI bought STARK brake disks for Passat B6 on advice of my friend. I took ventilated disks. They looked pretty decent. The kit included bolts for fastening. There were no problems with installation, they fitted perfectly. I had some mixed feeling when using them the first few days (until they lapped). Later this feeling disappeared. The car brakes perfectly: the pad closely fits the whole surface, no squeaking. They don't get too hot. I recommend it for those who do not want to pay extra money for the genuine disks. Top quality for reasonable price.- r. n.20.06.2021 22:44Memberi have just fitted a set of vented on the front of my jag xe, will see what they are like over the nxt few months

Quality and Performance
Users have reported that STARK brake discs fit well on various vehicle models. One customer mentioned they "fitted perfectly on my e61 535d 2005" with "no steering wheel wobble nothing" and gave them a 100% recommendation. Another user described them as having "reasonable quality," though they noted one disc had a "slight casting defect but did not affect braking performance".
For specific models like the Renault Megane 2, customers appreciate that STARK brake discs come with the ABS ring and wheel bearings included, considering them a good value despite the tendency for brake discs to wear quickly on this model.
Technical Specifications
STARK brake discs are available in various specifications to fit different vehicles. For example, the STARK SKBD-0022933 model features:
- 280mm diameter
- Internally vented design
- 25mm thickness
- High-carbon machining
- Painted surface
- 4/7x100 bolt hole configuration
These technical specifications ensure compatibility with specific vehicle requirements, and the high-carbon machining suggests durability and performance benefits. - @l.johnson.2705.06.2025 13:42MemberValue Proposition
Many customers highlight the good price-to-quality ratio of STARK brake discs. They are considered a cost-effective option, especially when they include additional components like ABS rings and wheel bearings. The brand appears to position itself as offering quality parts at competitive prices, with their website emphasizing "best prices" and "high-quality car parts at very attractive prices".
Installation Experience
Customers have generally found STARK brake discs easy to install. One user mentioned that "getting the disks was easy" though they had difficulty finding matching brake pads. Another customer noted that the discs are a direct fit but reminded users that "you don't get any new bolts, so don't throw your old ones away!"
Comparison to Other Brands
When comparing STARK to other brands, there are mixed opinions. While some users prefer STARK brake pads over Brembo equivalents due to stronger rear retaining clips, there was one instance where a customer ordered Textar pads but received STARK pads instead, suggesting possible supply chain or inventory issues with the distributor.
Overall, STARK brake discs appear to offer good value for money with satisfactory performance for everyday driving needs, making them a popular choice among budget-conscious car owners who don't want to compromise on basic quality and safety.
