Looking for some advice. My car has a slow crank from cold , start motor sounds slow. It has had a new battery and no evidence of any electrical supply issues. Fuel supply seems fine. It happens at the start of the day or after a long period of rest approx 8 hours. Once it’s started and been driven for a few minutes the fault goes away and it starts well after this , occasionally it’s a slow crank but fires up right away. I have cleaned all my earth straps in and around the starter motor and the battery terminals. It has the original starter motor on and a mechanic has said the starter seems to be turning very slow. I am committed to buying a new starter but wanted to see if there was something very obvious or something I could do to further confirm the starter as the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Info to add ^^ When the cranking is really slow and I keep trying the starter will all of a sudden start cranking a lot quicker , almost as if the battery is sending everything it has to it.
