@UKDJ Dec 15, 2023MemberFirst of all, this is a hire car so no big deal – just puzzling…When I stop, apply the (electric) handbrake/parking brake, select Park (automatic) & hit the Power button to kill the engine, sometimes the vehicle engine starts again on its own…?Last night, this happened at a petrol/gas/fuel station after I got out to top up the fuel – very disconcerting!!!Is there a part of the shutdown procedure I am missing?I thought, maybe I need to lock the vehicle but who would do that if you have passengers inside? TIA

My only other thought – maybe, just maybe – I forgot the parking/handbrake, as it has an ‘auto-hold’ feature when you apply the football??? But still a worry if it auto-starts after you exit the vehicle!Reply
