On the Renault Sandero / Stepway I (BS_), the petrol fuel filter is located underneath the car, near the fuel tank—typically just ahead of the rear wheels or directly next to the petrol tank along the fuel line.

To access it, you’ll need to get under the car (secure it with a jack and stands, safety first!). Look for a metal or plastic canister fitted inline on the fuel feed pipe—the filter sits there, held by clips or brackets. Some models have a bracket for the filter, while a few later or smaller-engine versions might not have an external filter at all (it’s inside the pump assembly if that's the case).

If you’re unsure, follow the main fuel supply line from the tank toward the front, and you should spot it before the line heads up to the engine bay. It’s usually pretty straightforward to swap—just squeeze off the quick-release connectors, pop the old filter out, and click the new one in.

Happy wrenching—may the fuel keep flowing smooth and clean!
