The understeering switches on the Renault Clio II get hot when the headlights are on. Can you tell me how to get rid of this?

Since the power is supplied through this switch, it warms up and burns down. Actually, you have to replace it. But the new one will end up with the same problem after a while. The thing which might help is the relay: low current will be transferred from switch to relay. All you need is skillful hands and knowledge of electrics. Or you can contact an automotive electrician.
